Hi – my name is Ryan- I used to work for British Airways as Cabin Crew. In 2017 I wanted more from my work life so I turned a crafting hobby into something more and I started Portside Soap Company. I started, with the help of my Family and Friends, with outdoor markets, primarily Hitchin craft & Farmers Market, before taking the plunge and signing up for a stall in the Stevenage Indoor Market. One stall quickly grew to four and then in 2024 The Portside Soap Company grew to needing it’s very own shop!

So in May 2024 we opened 24 Market Square in Stevenage Town Centre. We are a Family business, with my Sister and Niece working with me. We design and handmake ALL of our products in store. The Portside Soap Company is the place for you to purchase handmade artisan bath and cosmetic vegan products; we also have a range of dog-friendly shampoo’s too – our pooches need pampering aswell!
